I never watch live TV anymore, at least if its a commercial program. If it's something I really can't wait to watch, I simply wait 30 minutes into the program... so I can stay ahead of the boring commercials. I'm sure advertisers are suffering the most from DVR, while consumers are basking in glory watching commercial free TV! I personally love it, I'll never go back.

The DVR is the best invention since the dollar bill changer on the Coke machines. I now get to watch my programs when I want. When the phone rings I just pause it. I never watch commercials any more either. A certain show that I like started coming on around 2 am. Now I just DVR and watch it after work.
